Welcome to the Elphinstone Sports and Social Club, Function Room and Party Venue. We welcome enquiries for private events and will work with you to provide you the event you wish for, at a price you could only dream of…..Conveniently located 500 yards from The Ridge in Hastings, The Elphinstone Sports and Social Club provides the perfect location for your next event or celebration. We are easily accessible from Bexhill, Battle, Rye and surrounding areas.

Our Function Room is available 7 days a week for private hire, it is in the perfect location to be your venue for all occasions, from Wedding  Receptions, Birthday Parties, Children’s Parties, Christenings, Anniversaries and Wakes – we are flexible to your needs and have held Psychic Evenings, Auctions, Race Nights, Daytime Conferences and Exhibitions with great success. We have house bands and DJ’s to suit your taste, or you can provide your own entertainment.

Being a social club, we pride ourselves in being children and family friendly.

The space inside is flexible enough to cater for any number of guests from 10 to 200. Walk through the French Doors and outside we have a balcony with a sheltered area and additional seating. From here, you walk downstairs to a large lawned garden, with more seating.

There is ample free car parking on site and is protected by CCTV.

Needless to say, our bar is fully licensed with draught lagers, real ales and a wide range of spirits. It is very reasonably priced and with our own kitchen facilities, we can provide you with catering that fits not only your taste, but also your budget. If you prefer, you are welcome to provide your own food.
